Eliminate All Liquid Calories
The beverages you drink may be a contributing factor in what is preventing you from losing weight. As you begin to near your goal, eliminate all liquid calories from your diet. Liquid beverages like fruit juices and sodas not only contribute extra calories to your diet, but also add sugar. Excessive sugar intake can be a huge factor that makes it difficult to lose those last pounds.

Change up Your Exercise Routine
Doing the same workout routine every day not only leads to boredom, but can also cause you to plateau. You have to challenge new muscle groups in your body and try new exercises if you really want to see results.

For example, if you frequently run, then you may want to consider taking a spin class once a week. You may also want to try Pilates or a dance class for added cardio and new workouts for different muscles. Keep a Food Diary
You may be taking in extra calories without even realizing it, which may be making it difficult for you to shed those extra pounds. That is why it is you will need to keep a food diary. Lengthen Your Workout
Adding a little extra time into your workout may be just the thing you need to reach your goal. In fact, you can benefit by adding just five to 10 extra minutes to your workout because of how fast you burn up extra calories. If you normally workout 30 minutes, push it up to 40 and see if it helps.

Many people are able to lose weight quickly, but they struggle with those last few pounds. You can push past this weight loss plateau by eliminating all liquid calories and changing up your workout routine. Try to keep track of the changes you make and how they affect your weight loss.
