What happened to Desiree is horrid. All her dreams have come crashing down and now she has to deal with the circumstances life has presented her. Hopefully she can rise above it all and perhaps help spread the word about the potential risks of vaccination. And yes, it's disheartening to hear the insensitivity of some people.
