I enjoyed the TVO special "On Gratitude" which included 2 parts: The interview with David Gilmour, author of "The Perfect Order of Things" offered a sample of five reasons for giving thanks, from his book. Then the panel of 4 "experts" shared their diverse ideas on the subject of gratitude with practical and spiritual applications. It can be viewed online anytime at www.TVO.org/ (The Agenda, with Steve Paikin)

Hey Dee, how was the Gratitude special??

Thank you for sharing these links with readers, Dee. And yes, it's SO important to raise our frequency. Giving to others is definitely one special way to do this!

Oops, I'm a bit late reading this post for US Thanksgiving 2010, but still ahead of this year's celebrations! So I'm grateful for its "bang on" advice about gratitude. I will be emailing this link to all my friends while they're 'in the mode' because it could be transformational for many of them. There is a TV special tonight (Mon, 8 or 9pm on TVO) on the subject of "Gratitude" which should be quite enlightening too.

Another site www.GratitudeLog.com invites people to express DAILY gratitude in an online journal type format (private or public) with promises of becoming measureably happier and healthier. After several years as a member, this has been true for me & thousands of others all around the world. It's the Law of Attraction in action.

One last thing... I met Stephanie on another website www.dailychallenge.org She helped initiate a wonderful opportunity for people to serve the greater good of their local community, region and/or even globally thru random daily acts of kindnesss. For many this is a huge challenge, but for most it's a positive call to action. By giving something of ourselves to others, (even as simple as a smile) :D we elevate our own well being in kind. It certainly helps to get one's bottom line off the "pity pot" while allowing our mind to receive the highest frequency of the Universe.

For all the above I am most grateful, thankful and mindful of a better quality of life ~ living more fully & spiritually as a human being right here and now. Today and every day I give thanks and count my blessings. Happy Thanksgiving Day!
