If everything in the Universe is made of energy, like quantum physicists say it is, and it can never be destroyed or created but can be transformed, then it IS possible that thoughts can become reality. A real-life instance is the placebo effect, which proves the powerful link between belief and physical health.

HumanEyePSYCH-K is a personal development method of reaching the subconscious and changing your life from the inside-out. You are completely aware the entire time and a belief change can happen within minutes. The effects sometime take time to show up, as Aileen shares with us in her amazing story:

“Email to Doug Parks [PSYCH-K facilitator], Spirit 2000 Oct. 7, 2009

Hi Doug,

These days I am totally infused with profound gratitude, especially for you, Bruce [Dr. Lipton, cellular biologist] and Rob [Mr. Williams, Founder of PYSCH-K] and the work that you all do! I feel I must let you know of a personal experience emanating from last year’s November Psych-K workshop in San Mateo.

Coming to the workshop, my recovery from a stem-cell transplant had stalled and my oncologist had concluded I had “xyz” condition resulting from my stem cells being damaged during transplant. I was told this (anemia) would be a life-long condition which would be moderated with periodic blood transfusions.

Figuring Bruce knew a heck of a lot more about stem cells than my esteemed oncologist, I posed the question to him. His response: “If your stem cells had been damaged during transplant you wouldn’t be standing here today. There’s nothing wrong with your stem cells… It’s their environment.” I was infused with hope!…But still a bit skeptical. :)

During the ensuing two days, Rob taught us Psych-K. When we learned the Resolution Balance [one of several PSYCH-K techniques], I balanced [reprogrammed the subconscious] for “Every part of me is perfectly healthy and functioning in total harmony” with the overall goal of “robust health.” One of the visual indicators was “100% perfect health via any medical test possible.”

Everyone is unique. Each one of us has our own specific biochemical makeup so what’s good for one person isn’t necessarily good for another. But how do we know what our bodies need until we try things out or go to a doctor and get tested? Muscle testing is the answer!

Muscle testingOur bodies know what promotes health and vitality. Many say the body communicates with us via our intuition but who can hear that with all the noise in our heads?

Instead, we get aches, pains, itches and the like, and by then it’s too late. These are the effects of damaging the body.

Muscle testing: a non-invasive method used to communicate with the body in assessing imbalances and needs using a large muscle, usually the anterior deltoid or shoulder muscle. When the muscle stays strong, the body is saying “yes” or “it’s beneficial for me”. A weak muscle response is a “no” or “it’s harmful to me”.

At it’s most basic, muscle testing is biofeedback without all the bells and whistles!

Related to applied kinesiology (which was developed by chiropractor Dr. George J. Goodheart, Jr.), muscle testing is used by a wide variety of health practitioners and is used to “evaluate structural, chemical and mental aspects of health”. (Source: The International College of Applied Kinesiology)

Before you jump the gun and dismiss muscle testing as new age hooplah, check out this published study which helps validate muscle testing in chiropractic care.

What part of the body are we communicating with through muscle testing?

This answer is a tad confusing since everybody seems to have their own thoughts on the subject. Here’s what I’ve found so far:

  • The subconscious – as in PSYCH-K
  • Our energy field in relation to the energy of the objects or ideas being tested
  • Our electrical system
  • The autonomic nervous system which, interestingly, controls the parts of our body functioning below the level of consciousness
  • Our heart instinct or emotional center
  • The Superconscious or what Carl Jung called the Collective Unconscious. The spiritually-minded folk might call this our `Higher Self’ or `Creative Source’, the part of us that connects all life.

Keep in mind that it’s highly possible several or most of these are actually describing the same thing! On review of this list, muscle testing appears to detect physical, emotional, mental and spiritual stress in the body.

Muscle testing has many potentially diverse applications and implications

“PSYCH-K is a user-friendly way to rewrite the software of your mind in order to change the printout of your life.” Robert M. Williams, M.A. Originator of PSYCH-K®

psych-k-logo_color243115406_stdBack in March, we introduced PSYCH-K as The Ultimate Self-Improvement Tool. While I stand-by the title, the weekend workshop revealed the word `self-improvement’ is misleading. The reason why has become one of my favourite features of this self-help tool.

You can find further explanation of these important features and a complete description of PSYCH-K in the originator’s own words, The Missing Piece Peace in Your Life!.

Here are the most intriguing aspects of PSYCH-K:

  1. Personal Development Differentiation. The word `improvement’ implies the need to `fix’ while `development’ denotes change. Just because we want change (a natural process) doesn’t mean our lives are broken. As Dr. Lipton deduces in The Biology of Perception, beliefs create our lives. Simple cause and effect. Put aside judgments, blame, etc. and it becomes a results-based system. Not a matter of right or wrong.
  2. Kind of like conscious self-hypnosis. When you’re changing (or `balancing’) a belief, you are 100% conscious in PSYCH-K. With the help of a certified facilitator, using muscle-testing and PSYCH-K techniques, you consciously choose self-supporting beliefs and consciously `program’ them into your subconscious mind. falcon_with_pkLife is fun and easy. At least, that’s what my conscious mind would like to believe. I wonder if my subconscious is on board with me on this one? Hang on, let’s see… Darn. No luck. Ok, well, that’s cool. I’ll just use PSYCH-K™ and reprogram that puppy into my subconscious right now.

It took about 4 minutes, but according to my self-muscle test, it’s in there! And thank-You because people like Emmanuel Donchin, director of the Laboratory for Cognitive Pyschophysiology at the University of Illinois, suspect that, “As much as 99 percent of cognitive activity may be nonconscious.”

So I celebrate with a little dance in my chair. You’re welcome to join in the festivities because… Yay! Life is fun and easy!

This is only a taste of what I learned and experienced this past weekend…

Flying Books

Do you tend to get in your own way of accomplishing goals and realizing your dreams, like most of us? Are you frustrated because despite all your insight, wisdom and all your hard work to be the best you possible, you keep coming up short?

That’s why I’m absolutely pumped to try this natural, non-invasive, completely holistic and ingenious method of transformation, PSYCH-K®. It’s the missing piece of the entire self-improvement puzzle!

It’s also the second half of the video lecture we shared with you 2 weeks ago in The Science of Change where we learned that beliefs alter our perception, and our perception controls behaviour, turns on genes and can even rewrite genes.

We were left with important questions, though, like how can we identify (let alone change) something as intangible as a belief? Well, believe it or not, this program promises to do just that.

Bottom line: PSYCH-K enables us to reprogram our self-limiting beliefs and upgrade our systems with self-supporting beliefs that will ultimately change our behaviour (and lives).

It’s spring cleaning for your mind!

“The optimist sees the rose and not its thorns; the pessimist stares at the thorns, oblivious of the rose.”  Kahlil Gibran

Someone once told me that he believed there were two kinds of people in the world: those who see the world as dangerous and those who see the world as a safe place. And science seems to be backing him up!

In “Biology of Perception,” Dr. Bruce Lipton, a cellular biologist and author of The Biology of Belief, uses hard scientific facts and reasoning to explain his theory on how our own personal perception controls our entire lives. How we see the world affects us on the most basic cellular level, up to its expression in our behaviour, and actually selects which genes to turn on or if it can’t find the right gene to suit the ‘environment’, can even rewrite our genes!

Most importantly, though, Dr. Lipton convincingly argues how we all have the power to alter our perception and therefore our lives. Even though his lecture is packed-full of science, Dr. Lipton is an excellent, highly energetic teacher who simplifies the material. The power gained from the insight and knowledge is well-worth the hour investment.  Here’s the opening clip:

For those who do not have the time, I don’t want you to leave empty-handed! Read the rest of this entry
