Spicy Pear Smoothie

by Head Health Nutter on March 24, 2008

pear-smoothie.jpgTry this Asian inspired smoothie and let me know what you think. It’s low in calories and ginger is delicious as well as a great food for cold prevention…considering we just got more snow overnight here in Toronto!

Oh, Spring! Thou hast forsaken me!

1 medium pear
½ small avocado
3 tsp finely grated ginger
½ serving Vega natural flavoured protein powder
3 ice cubes
½ cup vanilla soy beverage

Blend until smooth. Makes 1 serving, about 20 oz.
