More Cleansing Blender Recipes

by Head Health Nutter on May 28, 2008

Many people arriving here on the Live Lighter blog have come in search for detox drink recipes . It seems as if people all over the world are realizing the immediate and future health benefits of eating a diet high in veggies.

What are some of these benefits, again?

Veggies are nutrient-rich and calorie-deficient, which means they will help you lose weight and also help you maintain a healthy weight. We also learned a few days ago about how nutrition is integral to stress management . A few months back we found out how true the statement is, “we are what we eat ” in 8 Foods to Grow Yourself a Younger Bod . And what about their enormous cancer-fighting properties: phytochemicals (with antioxidant capabilities)?

If you’re convinced and looking for tasty recipes, check out these Live Lighter blog posts:

Do you think I could make these drinks with my Magic Bullet?

Hi Zoe!

You can certainly try. I have a magic bullet and I’m not sure if I’m using it correctly because it’s no match for my blender.

Please let us know how it turns out!

Sorry, I need to clarify: I’ve used my magic bullet once on something else… not these cleansing recipes. But I’m interested to see if it works for you!

These look great. I’d love for you to submit some recipes to my website http://www.blenderbenefits.com

Some of your recipes contain nuts- which blender do you recommend using? I’m guessing you either use vita-mix or blendtec.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

@Blender Benefits: Welcome to Live Lighter and I hope you like the blender recipes!

And I would love to submit a recipe to your site, thanks for asking! I will create one especially for your readers. :)

As for a blender, I use my trusty classic Oster! I LOVE it! I notice that you have some blender information to share on your site…

Would you be interested in writing a post for Live Lighter readers? I know I’d like to know what blenders you recommend for our green blender recipes and why!
