Why would you want to inspire action? And how does it fit into healthy living? If you’re interested, keep reading!
If you’re in business, an aspiring political leader or a non-profit organization, inspiring action is an obvious goal. But what about everyone else?
Well, let me ask you this: Do you believe the world could be a better place? Do you believe you can make the world a better place? How about doing it without even trying or taking the typical leadership role?
I’m here to tell you, “Yes, you can!”
Referring to Saturday’s post, “Overcoming Fears for Longer, Healthier Years,” personal development not only improves your health but is an incredible driving force. When you overcome your challenges in one life area, it changes you. Usually for the better. Automatically, other life areas improve as well.
Now, stay with me here. Do you believe when you achieve personal goals that you inspire others around you towards success, as well?
That’s inspiring action without even trying! How about that?
By personally developing, that is, by taking life by the horns and living life to the fullest by pursuing your passions, providing your talents to the world and being brave enough to make whatever changes you need to accomplish your dreams, you’re making the world a better place.
Do you believe that?
We all have dreams and to achieve them, we need to learn from others’ successes. So I’d like to share an engaging and educational video with you that was sent to me from an incredibly talented colleague of mine, Sari Gabbay of U2R1 Media.
Here’s an 18 minute seminar given by Simon Sinek about “How Great Leaders Inspire Action”:
After watching this video, have you started thinking about your life purpose? As Mr. Sinek explained in his presentation, feelings drive behaviour. Finding out “why” you want to develop personally will help you achieve your goals.
Did you like Simon Sinek’s TEDtalk? Stay tuned for a book review this Thursday about another successful company who found their profits through passion and purpose!
