A Strong Case for Cleansing

by Head Health Nutter on November 13, 2008

Ok, get ready. We’re going to get real personal right now. All week has been a struggle. Everything seemed hard, nothing went right, I was stressed and when people were just being honest with me,  I took a lot of it personally. And it didn’t matter how I rationalized what they had said, my feelings were still hurt. The end result: a whole lotta Stephie-bashing in my head.

But today, something magical happened. Two real, good, sigh-inducing bowel movements. I felt instant pleasure. A release. I felt… lighter. Things started getting easier. Even when things still weren’t working as they should (like my computer!) I handled it better. My reaction was more relaxed to the very same kind of “crap” that would have visibly upset me only yesterday.

My point is that I believe my physical relief of a toxic situation cleared up my mental discomfort as well as my physical one. Ah, I hear your skepticism. And by all means, you should question me and ask for more proof. For those of you who still doubt, please read on. But I warn you, we’re about to get even more personal…

So even though I had a bowel movement everyday, I was backed up. That’s crazy talk, critics will say, if you excrete waste you’re obviously not constipated. I beg to differ – and I can prove it! The proof, as they say, is in the pooping. :)

Every morning for breakfast this week I’ve had a detox drink. My detox drinks are usually made mainly of blended spinach, kale and other veggies (nuts and a little fruit and juice to sweeten). You know when you move this super green, fibrous leafy plant material. I didn’t have one of those until today at mid-afternoon!

Imagine my surprise when FOUR green breakfasts later, Monday’s breakfast made an appearance. It proved to me though that I was backed up by 3 days – despite going every day. I guess I was still clearing the food I consumed last weekend. Blows my mind.

So Live Lighter readers, is this a strong case for cleansing? Does it convince you of its benefits and will you consider that you might be constipated – even though you’re regular?

Oh, and, I’m curious: was this post useful or tasteless? Give me your honest opinions!

Just wanted to comment about my night last night – life is not only easier but I’ve been way more effective!

Last night’s tasks that would normally take me anywhere from 2 to 4 hours to complete, took me less than an 1 and 1/2!

This is the effects of healthy living!
